Each year the Connecticut Academy of PAs honors those PAs that have made valuable contributions to the profession and the community. Such contributions come in the form of supporting ConnAPA endeavors, showing of initiative, demonstrated commitment and service to the profession and our patients, and legislative achievements.
Distinguished Merit Award
First awarded in 2015 by President Andrew Turczak, this award is given in recognition of those who have exhibited commitment, dedication and have provided valuable contributions throughout their career to ConnAPA

PA of the Year
First awarded in 2017 by President Jason Prevelige, this award is given in recognition of a PA, nominated by their peers, for outstanding service provided to their patients, colleagues and community.
