About ConnAPA

The Connecticut Academy of Physician Associates (ConnAPA), established in 1975, is a constituent organization of the American Academy of PAs. ConnAPA supports, advocates for, and is the collective voice of the Connecticut PA Profession in the delivery of cost-effective, accessible, patient-centered, and high-quality healthcare. Activities to support the ConnAPA mission include providing quality educational opportunities, networking opportunities, employment resources and professional advocacy.

ConnAPA is a continually growing organization, led by dedicated volunteer leaders. Those volunteers lead the Board of Directors and committees that are tasked with carrying out the objectives of the organization. S&S Management is the firm that is employed by ConnAPA, led by Mark Schuman, to handle the day to day operations of the organization. Kirsten Longley, ConnAPA’s Executive Director, is a long time, dedicated staff member who works hard on behalf of the organization to ensure growth and success.
