Tricia Marriott, PA-C, MPAS, MJ Health Law, CHC, DFAAPA

Tricia Marriott is a 1986 graduate of the Yale PA program with 32 years of clinical experience.  Tricia also served as AAPA Senior Director of Reimbursement Advocacy and Professional Practice and in hospital administrative roles in the Trinity Health System. Tricia is a highly regarded national industry resource, speaker and consultant on a broad spectrum of PA (and APRN) subject areas including scope of practice, utilization strategy and care models, billing and reimbursement, and compliance and regulatory issues. A former ConnAPA President and Legislative Chair, Tricia is currently the Program Director and Associate Professor at the University of Saint Joseph PA Studies Program in West Hartford.

Joe Ciavarro, DMSc, MBA, PA-C

15 years of healthcare experience with progressive leadership work, beginning as a hospital transporter, respiratory technician, respiratory therapist, physician assistant, and now Director of PAs, with additional trade-organization leadership experience on the NYSSPA Board of Directors.

Jason Prevelige, DMSc, MBA, PA-C, DFFAPA

Jason Prevelige, DMSc, MBA, PA-C, DFAAPA currently serves as the President-elect for the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA). A staunch champion of professional and healthcare advocacy, Prevelige has held progressive leadership positions throughout the AAPA and the Connecticut Academy of Physician Associates, Dr. Prevelige is excited to serve the Academy in this role during such an important time for the profession and U.S. healthcare system.

Dr. Prevelige has practiced emergency medicine for 15 years at Trinity Health of New England’s St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. He splits his time between clinical and administrative leadership duties at St. Mary’s. Responsibilities include overseeing a team of dedicated PAs and APRNs within the emergency department, as well as collaborating on quality, patient experience, and throughput initiatives within the department and hospital system. Additionally, he has practiced in various pediatric specialties for Connecticut Children’s in Hartford, Connecticut throughout the entirety of his career. An educator also, Dr. Prevelige instructs in various subject areas for both Sacred Heart University and Quinnipiac University.

Jason first earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Sacred Heart University before a Master of Health Science at Quinnipiac University, where he obtained his PA education. He later earned an MBA from Quinnipiac and most recently a Doctor of Medical Science at the University of the Pacific. A South Florida native, he now lives in Fairfield, Connecticut and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife Leanne and 9-year-old son, Alex, as well as helping coach Alex’s hockey team.

Mike Russo, MS, PA-C

Mike graduated from Springfield College in 2007 with Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He began his career working in Trauma Surgery at Hartford Hospital. Mike is currently the Director of Surgical Advanced Practice at Hartford, a role he has held since December of 2021. In addition to Trauma surgery, Mike has also spent time practicing in Interventional Radiology. Mike’s current professional interests are centered around clinical data analytics and reporting. He was named ConnAPA’s PA of the Year in 2023, is a current ConnAPA Director At Large and sits on several committees within the organization.

Andrew Turczak, MHS, MBA, PA-C

Andrew Turczak is the Vice President of the Connecticut Orthopaedic Institute (COI), overseeing both the MidState and St. Vincent’s Medical Center campuses since June 2022. Previously serving as Senior Director of COI, he spearheaded the establishment of its second location at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In his current role, Andrew drives operational and quality success across COI. With over 14 years of experience as a physician assistant in emergency medicine and orthopaedics, he is actively involved in professional associations such as the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Andrew holds degrees from Quinnipiac University, including a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Health Science in physician assistant studies, and an MBA in healthcare administration.

Chris Borajkiewicz, CFP®, BFATM, ChFC®, CRPC®, CLTC®

With 26 years of experience as a Private Wealth Advisor, Chris is the Managing Partner at Root, Borajkiewicz, Lucarelli Wealth Advisors, overseeing $1.2 billion in assets. Chris works closely with families and businesses to help them achieve their financial goals. Born and raised in New Haven, Chris graduated from Notre Dame High School and Southern Connecticut State University. He currently serves as the Board Chair of the Southern Connecticut State University Foundation, demonstrating a strong commitment to education and community service.
