Rainy weather did not cloud the success of the first annual Connecticut Academy of PAs golf outing. The event was held on Saturday, October 7 to kick off the start of PA Week 2023.
Tunxis Country Club in Farmington served as an excellent backdrop for greater than 80 golfers to come together to raise monies for the Hole in the Wall Gang and student scholarships for the CT PA Foundation. We had special attendees, Justin Farrands, representing the camp, as well as American Academy of Physician Associates President, Folusho Ogunfiditimi, in support of PA Week and ConnAPA.
The golfers had an excellent round of 18 holes of golf and enjoyed a barbecue lunch and margarita station. The event was rounded out by a dinner reception including photo booth, 50/50 and prize raffle. Feedback from those in attendance was overwhelmingly positive and the event was a philanthropic success. Hold October 5, 2024 for the next installment of this now annual event, you won’t want to miss it!
