ConnAPA particpiated in its first ever NBC Health & Wellness Expo at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The exhibit, which was also partially funded by the AAPA, allowed ConnAPA volunteers to educate the general public about the PA profession and how PAs interact with other healthcare professionals. In addition to handing out informational materials about PAs, volunteers also handed out nearly 1000 medication cards and†2000 logo bandaid dispensers. Our volunteers made their presence known by wearing blue “Physician Assistant” t-shirts. Thanks to our volunteers for helping us to take advantage of this unique opportunity to be exposed to the general public and help them understand why PAs are so important.
