Dear Connecticut PAs, As you are probably aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused Connecticut to essentially be run by Executive Order of the Governor. A number of those Executive Orders pertained to healthcare, and even more specifically to PAs. One of the big areas was a lifting of supervision requirements during the emergency period. We would like to gather information relevant to some of these Executive Orders, as well as other impacts of the pandemic on PA practice in Connecticut. This information will be crucial in illustrating to legislators why PAs should be granted certain measures in statute so that PA jobs can be protected and our patients well-cared for.
