Candidate for President-Elect
Biography
Hi friends! I have served on the ConnAPA board since graduating Quinnipiac University’s PA program in 2016. The various positions I’ve held on the board include Director at Large, Secretary, and Treasurer, as well as committee chair and member for several sub-committees. I have worked as the newsletter editor and initiated the social media platform on Instagram when I was committee chair of Communications and Outreach for our organization. As President-Elect I plan to continue working to advance the efforts of Connecticut PAs across the state. I have great working relationships with our present and past board members, along with our executive staff and legislative team, and will continue to learn from these relationships to strengthen the leadership on the board.
I have worked in Ob/Gyn since graduation at Griffin Hospital where I work both inpatient and outpatient caring for women’s needs. I also recently began teaching Ob/Gyn to the PA students at my alma mater, Quinnipiac University. I live in Trumbull with my husband, 2 kids, and goldendoodle. My favorite things include spending time with family and friends, reading books, and traveling.
Platform Statement
I am strongly vested in the improvement of PA life and strive to continue working hard to maintain and enhance healthcare for Connecticut PAs, and subsequently for our patients.
